Product Description
Nylon filter membrane refers to a material made of aliphatic nylon with good hydrophilicity, which is very suitable for filtering aqueous biological solutions, alcohol solutions, and non-aqueous HPLC/GC solvents. Essentially hydrophilic, it is recommended for applications with very low requirements for extractable content, as they do not contain any wetting agents, cleaning agents, or surfactants. Not only suitable for aqueous solutions containing acidity and alkalinity, but also for organic solvents such as alcohols, hydrocarbons, ethers, esters, ketones, benzene and its homologues, dimethylformamide, dimethyl sulfoxide, etc. It is one of the most widely applicable microporous membranes.
Filtering accuracy
0.1μ m/0.22μ m/0.45μ m/1μ m/5μ m
Product advantages
Nylon membrane has strong chemical resistance and is suitable for filtering highly corrosive solutions such as alcohols and DMSO. It has good chemical stability and can withstand dilute acids, bases, alcohols, hydrocarbons, ethers, ketones, benzene and its homologues, dimethylformamide, dimethyl sulfoxide, etc.
Product disadvantages
Like nitrocellulose membranes, nylon membranes have a stronger ability to bind proteins and other macromolecules than cellulose acetate membranes or polyether sulfone membranes. Resistant to alkali but not acid.
Application scope
Suitable for liquid medicine, beverages, high-purity chemical products, aqueous solutions and organic flowability, tissue culture medium filtration, sample sterilization filtration, and industrial water filtration.
